What began as a carpentry and roofing company has grown into a trusted spray foam insulation company serving homeowners and businesses throughout NY State's Southern Tier. Spray Foam by IOK brings years of hands-on construction experience to every project. That experience helps us understand your goals, explain your options, and recommend the right insulation solution for your home or business.
How IOK Carpentry Became Spray Foam
Founded by Ivan King in 2015, IOK Carpentry focused on craftsmanship, attention to detail, and quality workmanship. Those same values led the company to expand into spray foam insulation in 2015 with the purchase of its first spray foam rig. By 2018, when Jeremy Snavely joined the company, spray foam had already become a large part of the business. Initially brought on as a foreman, Jeremy quickly took on a larger leadership role, helping expand the insulation side of the business.
As the demand continued to grow, Spray Foam by IOK’s focus shifted almost entirely toward insulation services. This led to Jeremy eventually being made a partner, and in 2026, Jeremy formally took over the company.
